Hiya, I’m Kim! A knitwear designer and mending technician based in Dublin. (I just quickly have to mention that I’m originally from Cork.) My degree and background is in Fashion Knitwear and Textile Design. Since graduating from the Limerick School of Art and Design, I have worked for brands such as Levi’s, Teatum Jones and IrelandsEye Knitwear.

I recently completed a certificate award in Design for Sustainability and Circular Economics which is where Project Prolong began to unravel. My goal is to create garments with emotional durability and to keep textiles in circulation through visible mending and upcycling.
